Round table in the field of agriculture, young entrepreneurs with mentor
Today in Sarajevo, in the ambiance of Swissotel, the 6th Forum of Employment Services was held, entitled Run Something Good! in cooperation with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation SDC and YEP (Youth Employment Project). The basic idea of the fair is that young entrepreneurs present themselves and their businesses.
Agroideja d.o.o. contributed to the round table with participation in the field of agriculture. Mr.sci. Hemo Jusović led the table as a mentor, where he could offer assistance in overcoming the challenges and finding solutions through his many years of experience in agricultural consulting and marketing.
The participants had the opportunity to present the challenges they face in the launch, production and placement of products. The idea of round tables, in addition to interconnecting participants and sharing experiences, is to try to overcome current problems with the mentoring project.
Within the fair, the participants made the effort to exhibit their products and promotional material in the form of leaflets, brochures and other items with the logo of their companies, and thus best emphasized their presence on the market.
Participants touched on export issues, unfair competition, import competition, procurement of organic seeds and compost as some of the challenges they face.
One of the main conclusions that both the participants and the mentor have agreed on is the necessity of raising awareness and educating consumers as something that can and must be done, deeply aware of the unrealistic expectation of the option of restricting imports.
The participants also agreed in the evaluation of Mr. Jusovic on the necessity of introducing norms in the classification of products, or the credibility of a product class that consumers can trust and know exactly what they receive for their money.
